The system for injecting pressurised fluid into a heat exchanger plate bundle (1) comprises a tube (21) extending across the width of the plate bundle. One open end (21a) of the tube is connected to a pressurised fluid supply and the other end (21b) is closed. The tube has calibrated orifices (22), for spraying the fluid in the channels of the plate bundle, divided along the surface and along the length of the tube. Fluid is maintained in motion along the tube length by progressively decreasing its section in the direction of fluid flow. This decreasing section is formed by a ramp portion (23) located opposite the calibrated orifices and near the closed end of the tube. The ramp portion represents about 25 percent of the tube length. The tube is emptied by means of a sealed isolating valve (24) located at the end (21b) of the tube opposite the open end.
