PURPOSE:To provide a durable, inexpensive highly SOx-resistant and highly denitrizing catalyst for removing nitrogen oxide, an iron-removed, skeleton-structure ilumenite one reside is molded into a form, fired and used as a carrier into which vanadium oxide is to be incorporated. CONSTITUTION:Iluminite ore containing Fe2O3, Fe3O4 as impurities is crushed and reduced to iron oxide by using reducing gas. The reduced ore is then immersed into mineral acid such as HCl and H2SO4 to leach out iron ingredient until iron remains less than 10% in Fe2O3 conversion value. The process leaves a skeleton- structured ilumenite ore residue, which is molded into a form and fired below 1000 deg.C into a fires body. The fires body is in usual way utilized as a carrier for carrying 1 to 10% of vanadium oxide. EFFECT:Sufficiently durable and high activity ia provided to the catalyst for removing NOx from exhaustion gas containing high dusty, high SOx concentration which is normally extremely diffucult to remove.
|
