CONSTITUTION:In the disinfection of a mattress 3, a first process supplying sterilizing formaldehyde gas into an airtight container made of a flexible material to disinfect an article to be disinfected, a second process sucking the formaldehyde gas from the airtight.container to neutralize the same with an alkaline neutralizing substance and discharging the neutralized gas, a third process supplying alkaline neutralizing gas into the airtight container to neutralize the formaldehyde gas remaining in the airtight container and a fourth process discharging the alkaline neutralizing gas from the airtight container are provided. |
