PURPOSE:To increase electrical resistivity while maintaining a high dielectric constant and a low dielectric loss by adding a specified amount of Pb(Cr1/2Nb1/2) O3 to a dielectric porcelain main composition containing Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 and other Pb-based dielectric substance. CONSTITUTION:This dielectric porcelain composition is produced by adding 0.5-5wt.% Pb(Cr1/2Nb1/2)O3 as a secondary component to a main component consisting of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 and the Pb-based dielectric substance (e.g. PbTiO3) having higher Curie point than Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3. By using obtd. composition, even if the composition is burned in a low oxygen partial pressure atmosphere of <=10<-1>Pa in which Cu used as an inside electrode is not oxidized, the composition is hardly reduced, and a high electrical resistivity >=5X10<12>OMEGAcm is maintained. Therefore, the obtained composition is suitable for producing the dielectric porcelain for a laminated ceramic capacitor using Cu as the inside electrode. |
