PURPOSE:To produce an alumina cement and an alumina cement composition excellent in volumetric stability as compared with a conventional alumina cement and an alumina cement composition and having characteristic such as high fluidity, high strength manifesting property, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, spalling resistance. CONSTITUTION:In this alumina cement, a clinker in which a hydraulic component is composed of CaO.Al2O3 and CaO.2Al2O3 which is composed of 20-35wt.% CaO and 80-65wt.% Al2O3 is pulverized, and, 20-95 pts.wt. clinker and 80-5 pts.wt. alpha-Al2O3 is compounded, and the alumina cement composition is composed of these alumina cement and an additive consisting of calboxylic acids, an alkali carbonate and polyacrylic acids or carboxylic acids, an alkali carbonate, boric acids and polyacrylic acids. |
