PURPOSE:To obtain the sufficient sealing performance between flanges by allowing an annular sealing member to be installed free from the tilt to any flange side, by arranging a collar part in the space formed between the annular groove on one flange end surface and the annular groove on the other flange end surface. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 6 has an inside peripheral surface 7 which is formed continuously from the outer peripheral edge of an annular opened port surface 5 and has the center line L of a flange 1A as center and an annular tapered surface 8 which forms a part of a supposed conical outer surface having the apex on the center line L of the fluid passage 4 of the flange 1A. The tilt angle of the annular tapered surface 8, i.e., the angle formed between the center line L of the flange 1A and the annular tapered surface 8 is designed within a range of 5-45 deg. in the ordinary case. When the tilt angle to the annular tapered surface 8 is within this range, the flange 1A and a flange 1B are joined, and when these flanges are tightened by a bolt, etc., the tight liquidseal or aritight sealing performance due to an annular sealing member 2 can be maintained more effectively. |
