COMPOSITION FOR FLAME-RETARDANT URETHANE FOAM AND FLAME-RETARDANT URETHANE FOAM FOR SOUNDPROOFING

PURPOSE:To obtain a composition which can give a urethane foam being satisfactory in both flame retardancy and heat deterioration resistance and improved in sound-absorbing characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This composition is one comprising a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a blowing agent and a flame retardant, whererin the polyol contains a styrene polymer polyol. A urethane foam formed from the composition containing the styrene polymer polyol shows good flame retardancy because its state of burning is of melting and dripping type.
