PURPOSE:To provide a soil disease injury-controlling material reducing the crisis of soft rods and having controllability against soil infectious pathogenic molds. CONSTITUTION:A soil disease injury-controlling material having a control potency against the above-mentioned symptom contains the viable cells or spores of Gliocladium virens as an active ingredient. Gliocladium virens NT-10 strain (FERM P-14123) is preferably used. The material containing the viable cells or the spores in an amount of 10<4>-10<6> cells/kg is applied on an upland field or a golf course in the form of granules, powder, etc. The material can prevent or cure the crises of Chinese cabbage soft rot, cucumber damping-off, and lawn large patch disease. |
