PURPOSE:To obtain a germicidal composition effective for controlling a highly wide range of various kinds of plant disease injuries, and presenting excellent germicidal effect through synergistic effect. CONSTITUTION:This composition contains, as active ingredients, (A) a compound of the formula [Ar is (substituted) phenyl; Y is O, oxymethylene or methyleneoxy; R<1> and R<2> each is H or a lower alkyl), e.g. N-methyl-alpha- methoxyimino-2-[(4-chloro-2--methylphenoxy)methyl]phenylacetamide and (B) at least one kind of azole-based germicidal compound such as propiconazole, prochloraz or triadimenol. The weight ratio A/B is 1:(0.01-100) (pref. 0.1-50). The amount of this composition to be applied is normally 0.001-1000 (pref. 0.1-100) G per are; for seed treatment, the amount of the active ingredients to be applied totals 0.001-50 (pref. 0.01-10)g per kg of seeds. |
