PURPOSE:To set the channel of a television without erroneous operations by leading out an infrared ray LED from a transmitter main body through a signal cable to an outside and disposing it inside a cover for covering the light reception part of a television main body so as to be placed opposite to the light reception part and to automatically perform a charging processing by installing a card type timer in a transmission cable. CONSTITUTION:Since the infrared ray LED 2 is fixed through the signal cable to a position opposite to the light reception part of the television main body T, even in a place where many personal televisions are installed such as in a large room of a hospital or the like for instance, a failure that, one's TV is arbitrarily driven by someone else's remote controller is prevented. Also, in the case of viewing pay-broadcasting, when a card is inserted from the port of a card type timer main body 7, by a microcomputer 14 for control inside the timer main body 7, whether or not the card is valid is judged, the number of rates of the card is rewritten when it is valid, the remaining number of rates is displayed at a display device 9 and a television power source relay 16 is automatically turned on. |
