PURPOSE:To prepare a CHIMAKI (a rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo leaves, etc.) wrapped in a surface skin material having refreshing green color and to provide a process for keeping the green color of the surface skin material. CONSTITUTION:This CHIMAKI is wrapped in a miscanthus leaf used as a surface skin material. This process for the preservation of the miscanthus leaf comprises the quick freezing of miscanthus leaf in a freezer at about -20 deg.C immediately after collection and the preservation of the leaf in frozen state. |
