PURPOSE:To obtain a seasoning for cooking with a microwave oven, containing common salt, an amino acid, a monosaccharide and/or a disaccharide, a dextrin having a specific DE, a karaya gum and spices, effective for preventing the separation of water and gravy juice from meat, fish, etc., in cooking and capable of keeping soft palatability and deliciousness of the food material. CONSTITUTION:This seasoning for cooking with a microwave oven contains (A) common salt and an amino acid or a powdery soy sauce containing common salt and an amino acid, (B) a monosaccharide (e.g. glucose) and/or a disaccharide, (C) a dextrin having DE of 3-15, (D) a karaya gum and (E) spices. It can impart a food material with mild scorch mark and luster comparable to those obtained by the cooking with a frying pan, etc. It has powdery form and is scarcely attached to the cooking utensils, packaging bag, etc. |
