<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a signal processing circuit reduced in the number of field memories in respect of a system converter for converting a MUSE signal into an NTSC signal. CONSTITUTION:In a luminance signal processing part and a color difference signal processing part, vertical filters 8, 14 having comb characteristics are respectively constituted by using the I/O data of field memories 7, 13. A return component of 30Hz included in each signal is removed and each of the filters 8, 14 are subjected band limitation in order to prevent the generation of return distortion due to reduction in the number of scanning lines.</p> |
