<p>PURPOSE:To display and operate data of an operated object within the same visual angle and to improve the operability of an operator by opening a window by the side of data becoming the operated object on a cathode-ray display device, displaying a menu which can be operated in the same way as an operation keyboard in the window and operating it with a pointing device. CONSTITUTION:A process monitoring console desk is provided with the cathode- ray display device 1, a key input device for operator, a processor and the pointing device. A function for moving the cursor is provided on the cathode-ray display device and a mechanism for discriminating a display coordinate at the time of pointing the cursor 9 and the attribute of the display area to execute processing conforming to the attribute is provided.</p> |
