DIGITAL IF- ALL BASEBAND SIGNAL CONVERTER

PURPOSE: To provide an all digital IF-base band signal converter to which no analog digital converter or other related analog circuit structure is adopted. CONSTITUTION: An IF frequency-base band frequency signal converter 118 to decode an analog IF signal by using phase information included in an IF signal is provided with a first signal generator 122 to generate an analog rectangular wave signal 124 from the IF signal 116. In addition, the signal converter 118 is provided with a second signal generator 139 to generate a local phase reference signal 134 and a phase difference determiner 132 to determine a phase difference between a phase of an analog rectangular wave and the local phase reference signal by a specified sampling cycle and the phase difference represents a code decoded from the IF signal 116 by the signal converter 118.
