WIPING DEVICE FOR CYLINDRICAL ROAD SIGN

PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic device by which a side face of a cylindrical road sign is automatically wiped and a reflective surface is prevented from being soiled. CONSTITUTION:A support ring 5 is fixed to a lower place of a cylindrical base 1 of the cylindrical road sign. A permanent magnet 6 is fitted on an upper face of the support ring 5. An elevating/lowering ring 7 fitted with a brush 8 on the inner peripheral surface and formed with plural slant blades 10 on the circumference is loosely inserted into the base 1 of the cylindrical road sign. A permanent magnet 9 being equal in size to the permanent magnet 6 of the support ring 5 and the pole of which is opposed to the same pole of the magnet 6 is fitted on a bottom face of the elevating/lowering ring 7 and the elevating/lowering ring 7 is floated at the upper side of the support ring 5.
