摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of an accident by grasping a burning state in a cogeneration system in which a temperature keeping burner of a catalytic combustion type having a catalytic burner and fuel supply means for additionally supplying fuel to its upstream side is employed in an exhaust gas duct for guiding exhaust gas of an engine to an exhaust heat recovering unit. CONSTITUTION:An actual rising temperature of exhaust gas at inlet and outlet sides of a catalytic burner B is compared with a rising temperature amount of the exhaust gas due to combustion of supply fuel from fuel supply means 12, and when the both have a difference of a predetermined deviation or more, a combustion malfunction of the burner B is decided. Or, a decreasing amount of residual oxygen in the exhaust gas at inlet and outlet sides of the burner B is compared with an oxygen consumption amount of the supply fuel from the means 12, and when the both have a difference of a predetermined deviation or more, the combustion malfunction of the burner B is decided.</p>
