<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the resources which ere shared among plural processors in order to facilitate the operation end also to improve the call processing capability and the economical properties for an ATM switching device by attaining 8 multi-processor constitution by the common resource management and without complicating the control. CONSTITUTION:A main controller 10 is connected to an ATM communication channel 2 and the circuit corresponding parts 301-30n. Meanwhile the individual controllers 11-in have the circuit corresponding parts 311-3nn and the control interfaces 60-6n to perform the control. The parts 301-3nn are connected to each other via the channel 2. The main information such as the call information, etc., is connected by the channel 2 and is connected to a desired circuit by routing in the channel 2. Under such conditions, the channel 2 consists of a self-routing switch and therefore the busy/idle state of each terminal can be managed by only the circuit corresponding pert and its controller.</p> |
