<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electric power steering device which is so constituted to effectively reduce the generation of tooth contact noise during the operation of a bevel gear mechanism without lowering the strength of a gear and the efficiency of gear transmission though its constitution is simple. CONSTITUTION:The end parts, in the direction of a tooth trace, of the teeth 13a of a large gear 13 of which one side of a bevel gear mechanism consists are covered with resin 30. Through the passage of the resin 30 through a gap between the large gear 13 and a small gear, the generation of tooth contact noise is reduced.</p> |
