PURPOSE: To provide the method for precise positioning between two works. CONSTITUTION: The method for mechanically engaging two works mechanically with each other when the surface 20 of one work is insufficient in a surface shape capable of being engaged physically is disclosed. To obtain a mechanical contact for engagement with the other work 100, an adapter 22 is formed by crystallographical etching, and positioned and mounted precisely on the surface 20 of the work which does not have the physical outward shape part that can be engaged directly. On the surface 20 of the work and surface of the adapter 22, solder points are formed by a photoengraving metal coating process. Then the adapter 22 is mounted on the surface 20 of the work through solder bumps for high-level precise positioning. The adapter 22 has a contact point precisely positioned to mechanically engage the physical outward appearance part 12 of the other work 100. |
