PURPOSE:To easily synthesize a picture with a wide visual field and a highly precise picture and to obtain a natural picture. CONSTITUTION:While changing an observing point direction, a highly precise picture is picked up by cameras 1L, 1R and recorded in a recording medium 7 by using the observing point direction as a retrieving index. A background picture similarly taken by cameras 1L', 1R' is recorded in a recording medium 7' by using the observing point direction as a retrieving index. A two-eyes picture display means 15 has visual direction detecting parts 14, 14' for detecting an observer's visual direction and the highly precise picture in an observing point direction most close to the observer's visual line direction and its background picture are read out from respective recording media 7, 7'. The read pictures are synthesized by the picture processing of a picture synthesizing part 9 and the synthesized picture is displayed on respective picture display panels 11, 11'. |
