PURPOSE:To prevent the tendency of winding even when a solar cell element is housed for a prolonged term under a wound state by forming an easily bendable region in a protective film covering at least one surface of the solar cell element in parallel with the direction of a winding shaft. CONSTITUTION:In a solar cell 10, a light-transmitting surface protective film sealing a rectangular tabular solar cell element 11 having flexibility from the front side and a rear protective film sealing the solar cell element 11 from the rear are formed. Easily bendable regions 14 are formed by shaping grooves in the surface protective film. Easily bendable regions 15 are also formed to the rear protective film at places oppositely faced to the easily bendable regions 14. Power generation regions 50a-50e are bent small and the easily bendable regions 14, 15 largely under the state, in which the solar cell 10 is housed in a housing 20. Curling is not formed in the easily bendable regions 14, 15 under the state, in which the solar cell 10 is drawn out from the housing 20. |
