<p>PURPOSE:To offer a compressor protective device protecting the compressor of an automobile air conditioner from a temporary overload and protect the compressor from the over load caused by failure. CONSTITUTION:This device calculates all slippages by the values respectively detected by an engine speed detecting unit 1 and a compression rotation detecting unit 2 and, by the size of the slippage, does not detect any failure in such case as a temporary overload condition but detects failure when an abnormal overload condition continues and cuts off the engine drive force from the compressor. Because it rewrites all slippage standard values to the optimum by its slippage varying unit 21 specially when fluid of the compressor is compressed, detection by mistake caused by fluid compression can be lessened, the compressor can be protected by an accurate failure detection and the belt transmitting the engine speed to the auxiliaries including the compressor can also be protected.</p> |
