<p>PURPOSE:To save energy by sensing existence of any person automatically with a sensor, and turning on and off the power supply. CONSTITUTION:When any person exists within a sensitive area of a sensor 3, a pyroelectric sensor 3'' senses it, and a signal is sent to a central monitor board 1 via a bus interface 3' and a controller 2. In conformity to synthetic command from the monitor board 1, the given signal is translated into an on/off signal of a concrete load appliance 6 by the controller 2, and therewith a remote relay 4'' is actuated, and the appliance 6 is turned on or off automatically. If no person exists in the sensitive area, the power to the appliance 6 is shut automatically in conformity to the command from the monitor board 1 unless existence of person is sensed within a certain time from the last sensing of human existence. Instead of automatic operation. power supplying to the appliance 6, i.e., on operation, may also be made manually.</p> |
