Resinated Pigment Compositions The present invention provides a method of reducing the tendency of a resinated pigment product to self-heat which comprises treating an aqueous slurry of the pigment with a compound of a multivalent metal or metalloid under conditions such as will precipitate an insoluble compound of the metal or metalloid on the pigment, and then isolating the treated pigment.
