PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-insulated paper-made container with a foamed heat- insulating layer which varies in thickness area by area, by a method wherein a relatively thick foamed heat-insulating layer is formed on areas with prints printed by ink containing organic solvent and a relatively thin foamed insulating layer on arears without print. CONSTITUTION:There are prints 9 printed by ink containing organic solvent on a top opening rim 7 and near a bottom member 5 of the exterior surface of a container barrel member 3. In addition, a foamed heat-insulating layer 11 covers throughout the exterior surface of the barrel member 3, including areas with the prints 9. The foamed heat-insulating layer 11 covering the areas with the prints 9 is thicker than that covering areas without print. The foamed heat-insulating layer 11 is made of thermoplastic synthetic resin. Therefore, the adhesive strength of the thermoplastic synthetic resin to a base paper is deteriorated by residual solvent in the print ink and pigment of ink, so that foaming at the areas with the prints 9 is stimulated and a relatively thick foamed heat-insulating layer is formed. |
