PURPOSE:To provide a burning supporter for a ceramic compact in which a burning operation can be simplified, a life of the burning supporter is long and a burned product is hardly deformed and a method for burning the ceramic compact using the burning supporter. CONSTITUTION:A burning supporter 3 used for burning is formed with a fiber board 9 composed of heat resistant fibers which is provided on a ceramic substrate 7. Many ceramic pipes 11 are vertically provided through the fiber board 9. On the surface of the ceramic substrate 7, many fitting holes 13 to which the lower ends of the ceramic pipes 11 are fitted are formed in a zigzag manner at prescribed intervals. The fiber board 9 is made of four laminated fiber boards 9a to 9d and provided with through holes 15 through which the ceramic pipes 11 are inserted. The ceramic pipe 11 is a hollow and cylindrical heat reresistant pipe having a main composition of alumina. |
