PURPOSE:To facilitate the installation work of an air conditioner by dividing a case of an air conditioner into upper and lower parts and arranging a heat recovery heat exchanger and an air conditioner heat exchanger in the upper and lower parts respectively. CONSTITUTION:A case 100 of an air conditioner main body 1 is divided into upper and lower parts. A ventilation heat recovery unit 2 containing a heat recovery heat exchanger is arranged in the upper part 100a of the case, and an air conditioning unit 3 containing an air conditioner heat exchanger 7 is arranged in the lower part 100b of the case. Before the upper part 100a of the case is mounted on the lower part 100b, hands can be inserted into the lower part 100b of the case through the upper side opening of the lower part 100b to connect cooling medium pipes of the heat exchanger 7 to one another. The upper part 100a is located to a top side, and the heat recovery unit 2 occupies a location nearer to a ceiling space. The heat recovery unit 2, therefore, can easily be connected to a duct arranged in the ceiling space. Thus, the installation work of the air conditioner can be alleviated. |
