An insert permanently joined to the tap grip (27) runs onto one of several thumb stops (22) fitted to the limiter during tap flow volume adjustment. The stops are fitted to one or more flexible rib elements (21) which as part of the limiter stand parallel to the respective sides of a diametral slot round the flow volume control pin (8) movement. The insert joined to the grip (27) should have two parallel slots to fit in under the limiter via the ribs (21). A raised part in each of these parallel insert slots combines with the thumb stops (22) on the rib arm (21) to complete the mechanical endstop e.g. between flow volume stages. The tap regulating ball typically has admission and outlet holes (9-13), housing (6) and seat in the valve housing (1) to contain the slotted insert as drive round the pin (8) movement, supplemented by hot and cold water entries (13,14), using the ball angle for flow control and mixture. |
