PURPOSE:To provide a tile burning base and an accessary tile burning base capable of uniform burning even when a rapid burning is carried out by a roller hearth kiln or the like and generating no warping during use. CONSTITUTION:A tile burning base is made of a light ceramic material with a bulk specific gravity of 1.0 to 1.7 and has a small heat capacity meeting a rapid burning. A plurality of parallel leg plates 2 protrude on the lower side of a tile support surface 1. Spaces between these leg plates 2 serve as gas passages 3. This contributes to the improvement of circulation of heat and also to the prevention of warpage of the tile support surface 1. In an accessary tile burning base, the tile support surface 1 is inclined and its inclination angle is preferably within a range of 2 to 5 deg.. |
