PURPOSE:To smoothly move an operating member up and down by a method wherein the operating member is pressed down against the force of a powering member to spout content in a pump chamber from a spout, and the operating member is returned upward by the elastic force of the powering member to pump up the content in a reservoir to the pump chamber. CONSTITUTION:When an operating member 70 is pressed down against the force of a powering member 80, the operating member 70 and a piston 40 descend, causing a first check valve 30 to shut and a second check valve 60 to open. Therefore, content in a pump chamber 81 is pushed out by the piston 40, passes through between the piston 40 and the second check valve 60, and flows into a outlet path 42 of the piston 40 through a communicating hole 44 and then to a spout 43. After that, when the operating member 70 is raised by the elastic force of the powering member 80, the piston 40 ascends together with the operating member 70, causing the second check valve 60 to shut and the check valve 30 to open, so that the content in the reservoir 7 is pumped up to the pump chamber 81. As the spout 43 is located in the middle on top of the operating member 70, the spouting direction of the content is constant, improving an convenience of use. |
