PURPOSE:To enable a user to confirm the correct reception of the telephone number of his replying destination by broadcasting the prescribed replying destination information after multiplexing it with the main broadcast signal at a broadcast station and showing the success or failure of reception of the replay information separated from the main broadcast signal on a display element at the receiver side. CONSTITUTION:A broadcast station superimposes the replay destination information on the telephone number of the replaying destination, etc., at a prescribed position of an image formed by the main broadcast signal of a bidirectional broadcast program. Thus the superimposed information is broadcast for a proper time as a video signal. When a TV receiver is switched on, a preprocessing circuit 31 and a DTMF decoder 32 always monitor the DTMF signal mixed into the audio signal of the program selected at present. If the DTMF signal mixed into the audio signal of the broadcast program under reception is detected, a CPU 21 fetches the decoding output of the DTMF signal. If the received data is a function signal, the received signal is shown on a display means 16 and also stored in a DRAM 23. |
