PURPOSE:To produce a woody molded product extremely near to natural wood in feeling such as a touch feeling and having straight grain like patterns. CONSTITUTION:Base material pellets composed of a mixture of a resin and first color pigment and woody pattern forming pellets composed of a mixture of cellulosic fine particles having white pigment subjected to grinding treatment supported on the surfaces thereof, a resin and second color pigment are mixed to obtain a pellet mixture which is, in turn, subjected to extrusion molding. A die 44 is attached to the leading end of an extruder 40 through a diffusion cylinder 43 having a torpedo 45 and the diffusion cylinder 43 is formed so that the opening part on the emitting side thereof becomes a larger area as compared with the opening part of die orifices and is arranged so as to cover the opening part of the die orifices 49. A plurality of bypass orifices 51 allowing the region positioned outside the opening part of the die orifices of the opening part on the emission side of the diffusion cylinder 43 to communicate with the die orifices 49 are formed to the die 44 along the axial direction of the die orifices. |
