PURPOSE:To realize a reduction in size and power conservation of an apparatus which uses a locking mechanism with a plunger. CONSTITUTION:A movable core 15 of a plunger 11 provided at a disk apparatus body 18 has a pressing part 15a. A rocking arm 21 is rotatably supported to the body 18, has a locking part 21a for locking a movable pin 32 and an engaging part 21a to be engaged with the core 15. The arm 21 is energized counterclockwise by a spring 24, and positioned by a stopper 23 when a coil 14 is deenergized. When the coil 14 is energized, the part 15a presses the engaging part 21a, thereby releasing locking of the pin 31 by the locking part 21a. The core 15 is energized by a spring 17 in a direction A1. When the coil 14 is not energized, the part 15a is positioned separated a predetermined length from the engaging part 21a of the arm 21. |
