The method for displaying expendable articles exchange time in an electrophotographic processor comprises a first step of counting the number of sheets printed in a printing mode; a second step of checking if it is time to exchange the expendable articles by the counted number of sheets; a third step of checking whether an OPC drum must be exchanged or a developing device must be exchanged; a fourth step of if the OPC drum must be exchanged, informing a user of the exchange need of the OPC drum and resetting the counting amount of the number of sheets; and a fifth step of if the developing device must be exchanged, informing the user of the exchange need of the developing device and resetting the counting amount of the number of sheets.
