The zircon based castable refractory is composed of 2-6 wt% a cement flocculant including more than 65 wt% alite, 2-8 wt% zircon ultrafine powder having the mean particle size of less than 5 micrometer, 2-6 wt% silica ultrafine powder having the mean particle size of less than 1 micrometer, 0.3-3.0 wt% against the cement amount a high performance water reducing agent such as naphthalenesufonic acid-formaldehyde condensate and the remains of zircon aggregate.
