<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of dust, by mounting an air curtain portion to a hopper inclined plane at the side facing to a gas current containing dust, in a hopper that shapes a unified structure with a precipitator body and collects dust caught by a collecting electrode. CONSTITUTION:Gas containing dust flows into an electric precipitator body 2 from an inlet flue 1. One portion of the inflow gas flows into a hopper 4 and attachs dust to a wall surface of the hopper 4, but dust is exfoliated from the wall surface of the hopper 4 by an air curtain formed from a nozzle 6, and exfoliated dust is again changed into a gas current, flows into a collecting electrode 3 and joins with a gas main current. Thus, the discharge of dust can be prevented.</p> |
