PURPOSE:To provide a subcarrier multiplex light transmission system which never causes the deterioration of transmission quality of a digital carrier signal caused by the clipping despite the simultaneous transmission of both analog and digital carrier signals. CONSTITUTION:The DELTAf is set larger than the band occupied per one wave of a digital carrier signal, the center frequency of analog carrier signals 11-18 is set at mXDELTAf (m: a positive integer), and the center frequency of digital carrier signals 21-25 is set at (n+1/2)XDELTAf (n: a positive integer) respectively. Under such conditions, the impulse distortion is caused by the clipping of the analog carrier signal in a frequency band of kXDELTAf (k: a positive integer), i.e., in a band other than the transmission band of the digital carrier signal. Therefore the digital carrier signal is never deteriorated despite the clipping caused by the analog carrier signal. |
