PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner wherein reduced size of a heat exchanger and improved heat exchange efficiency can be achieved. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a heat exchanger 5 wherein a large number of radiation fins 12. are parallelly disposed, leaving narrow spaces therebetween, and heat exchange pipes passe through the radiation fins and a cross flow fan 8 having a circular section which introduces the air in a chamber to be air-conditioned into the heat exchanger 5 to effect heat exchange therein, and the upper part of each of the radiation fins of the heat exchanger is formed into an acute angle so that the side view thereof has an inverted U-shape and the front side of the fin is bent and formed into a U-shape so as to surround the cross flow fan. |
