A transport vehicle, such as a semitrailer or trailer, is provided with a chassis which can be moved by a truck and is designed with a front part, which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the transport vehicle and can be coupled to the truck, and at least one further part. There are coupling means for selectively coupling and uncoupling the front part from the further part, in order to be able to adjust various parts of the transport vehicle with the aid of the truck.
