The invention relates to a trailer which can be moved by a tractor and is provided with a chassis and at least two steerable wheels, which support the chassis and can be pivoted with respect to the chassis with the aid of steering cylinders which are coupled to the wheels. The steering cylinders which are coupled to the wheels are coupled to actuating cylinders which, in order to be extended and retracted, are coupled to a component which can rotate with respect to the chassis and, with the aid of a coupling pin of the trailer which is coupled to the tractor, is rotated with respect to the chassis proportionally to the rotation about the coupling pin of the tractor with respect to the trailer. The actuating cylinders are arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the trailer, and each actuating cylinder is connected on one side to the chassis and on the other side to a slide piece which can slide in the longitudinal direction of the chassis and is coupled to the component which can rotate with respect to the chassis.
