A gearwheel system comprises an outer gearwheel, which is provided with internal toothing, and an eccentric inner gearwheel, which interacts with the outer gearwheel, is provided with external toothing and the number of teeth of which is one less than the number of teeth of the outer gearwheel, which outer and inner gearwheels are able to execute a cycloid movement with respect to one another and each interact with their own shaft. A concentric pinion is arranged on one of the shafts; furthermore, at least one auxiliary gearwheel is eccentrically mounted on that gearwheel which interacts with this shaft, which auxiliary gearwheel interacts with the pinion and can rotate about a concentric auxiliary shaft which is parallel to and at a constant distance from this shaft.
