Optical orientation assist device in large block of flats

The optical device provides orientation assistance to visitors in large blocks of flats. In particular, it indicates the staircases to use in locating the flat being visited. When a door intercom system is used, the caller presses the appropriate door bell. The person in the flat then presses a button to automatically open the main entrance door. A button is associated with the appropriate staircases and includes a light (D1). When the door is opened, the respective staircases lights flash for a set time allowing the caller to find the right flat.
