Fastening assembly for rail mounted on steel sleeper

The rail (10) is mounted on the steel sleeper (12) via a ribbed fastening plate (16), with the sleeper formed by I-section RSJ support bodies transverse to the rail direction. Each sleeper flange lies in its own plane. Between the fastening plate and the top flange outer faces is located a pressure distribution plate. Through the pressure distribution plate passes a fastening member (38), extending from the fastening plate between the double T-shaped supports and abutting the top flange. The fastening member can be aligned to the longitudinal edges of the top flange.
