Radially layered iron core for electric motors and generators

The iron core for electric motors and generators has one or more layers of sheet metal. The layers run parallel to the core axis. The shape of the magnets or the grooves are pressed i.e. not cut, into these layers. The resulting recesses of the magnets are filled with metal plates.To reduce eddy currents, electro-plates are used, whose surfaces are insulated from each other in accordance with the manufacturing standards. The radial construction is particularly suitable for a multiple layer generator. The radial ring carrier plates are fixed on the stator carrier plate (1) at the height of the stators.
