<p>A guiding device including a body having the same volume as a fuel assembly and being placed on the lower core plate (20). The body is provided with a grip portion engageable by a fuelling machine, a downward extension consisting of a member (18) for positioning the assembly on the lower core plate in an assembly position adjacent to the receiving position for the assembly to be guided, and two wings (30) supported by the lower portion of the body and lying at right angles to each other in a horizontal plane, each wing having a sloping guide surface (32) extending down to a point above the position for receiving the assembly when the device is in place. Each wing (30) is retractable from an extended position to a stowed position within the horizontal space occupied by the body.</p> |
