A window frame structure comprises a surround component (10) to be fixedly fitted internally of a prepared window opening (12). The surround component (10) has an integral barb member (16) to extend inwardly of the window opening (12). A window frame (18) is accommodated in the surround component (10) and is provided with an integral barb catching member (20) peripherally thereof. The barb catching member (20) and the barb member (16) are for snap fitment together whereby to secure the window frame (18) in position in a window opening (12).
