The flame pipe (1) is for an esp. oil-fired burner. It has two coaxial pipe components (5,6) with a narrow annular gap between them allowing recirculation of some of the gas. There are several spring holding clips (7), supporting the inner pipe (6) inside the outer pipe. The burner (2) has a nozzle plate (4) with holes for admission of air and an oil injector. It discharges into the conical end of the outer flame pipe which is attached to the burner assembly by brackets (3).
