Sealing system for tunnel construction

The seal is for a longitudinal joint between the adjacent concrete tunnel segments and is formed by an elastomeric profile anchored in a segment groove and/or by fastening extensions. The sealing profile forms simultaneously a guide element and bearing. Alternatively a separate bearing support forms a guide element anchored in a groove and/or by fastening extensions in the segment. Another possibility presents an additional guide element. Pref. the sealing profile comprises ducts, extending in the joint longitudinal direction, and is fitted with a fabric reinforcement.
