<p>The invention concerns a screw closure which is both resistant to overturning and childproof, in particular a closure for bottles containing cleaning liquids. The closure comprises a spout, fitted to the bottle, with a double external thread (25), radially spreading catches (27) moulded on the spout and a screw cap (37) designed to be expanded by the catches (27), the cap having an outer shell (47) with moulded cap-expansion wedges (51) and a separate threaded section (39) with a double internal thread (41) which matches the external thread (25) on the spout. The turns of the external thread (25) are disposed on an ring (23) in such a way that each encompasses an angle of 180° and they do not overlap or only overlap slightly. Sills (33) are disposed between the catches (27) and the ring (23) and the separate threaded section (39) has oppositely disposed wedge-shaped notches (43) with contact edges (45, 53) which abut the sills (33) when the cap is screwed on, the notches acting as an overturn-prevention device. The closure is characterized in that the spout consists of a baseplate (19) located on the container and carrying the ring (23), the catches (27) and the sills (33), plus a reducer (1) detachably fitted in the ring (23).</p> |
